The Vauxhall Agila provided practical city transport with a focus on interior space and ease of use. Its tall body design and compact footprint made it particularly suitable for urban environments while offering surprising interior versatility.

Engine choices included 1.0 and 1.2-litre petrol units, both offering adequate performance for urban use with good economy. Manual transmissions were standard, with an automatic option available on some 1.2-litre models.

Trim levels progressed from Expression through S and Club to Design specifications. All versions featured practical interior layouts, with higher grades adding air conditioning and alloy wheels. Later models benefited from enhanced safety features and improved interior quality.

When examining a used Agila, check service history and inspect carefully for urban wear and tear. Being primarily a city car, clutch and brake wear should be assessed thoroughly.
